A: Callejero

B: Cumbia A Lo Lejos

We first came across Alejandro’s mighty Callejero via a mix from his Cómeme chum, Diegors. Callejero’s infectious hook stuck in our heads for days on end and after getting in touch, the talented Mr Paz happened to be sitting on a wealth of fresh sounding material which owes as much to House music from the streets of Chicago and South Africa’s townships as it does his Latin roots.

Callejero opens with a devastating drum work out before giving way to the aforementioned catchy hook: It hasn’t been billed as this years Township Funk for nothing. As the title suggests, the equally as contagious Cumbia A Lo Lejos is a lesson in Latin rhythms set to warm your winter cockles. Alejandro has been keeping very busy recently, winning over dancefloors across Europe and has since been welcomed into the Cómeme fold with open arms.
